Thar Roxx interiors Leaked!!! Huge Touchscreen and Sunroof Confirmed?

Mahindra Thar Roxx is getting ready to go on sale on August 15. The company has confirmed through recent teases that the Thar Roxx will keep the famous Thar silhouette while providing more upscale interiors than the Thar 3-door model. The interior of what appears to be a mid-spec version of the longer Thar has been revealed in a new spy footage that has gone viral online.

Dashboard

The dashboard has a distinctive black and white appearance, yet it still resembles the dashboard of the 3-door Thar. The driver's display is a semi-digital device that resembles the contemporary 3-door Thar in that it has an analogue speedometer, tachometer, and multi-information display (MID) in the centre. The steering wheel resembles that of the Mahindra XUV700.

A larger touchscreen system, perhaps the 10.25-inch model from the XUV400 EV, which is also anticipated to be included in the top-spec Thar Roxx, is housed in the dashboard. Conversely, the 3-door Thar's manual AC controls are still there on the HVAC panel. There was also a camera for the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) visible on the front windscreen, suggesting that it might be installed.

Sunroof

The top-spec vehicle would include a panoramic sunroof, as Mahindra had previously hinted. The spied variant has a single-pane sunroof. The white upholstery on the seats, which are similar to those in the present Thar, goes with the motif of the cabin. The driver and passenger both have their own armrest.

Space

The extended wheelbase is a significant modification that has made it possible to add a rear bench seat and a larger second row. Three people can now fit in this seat. Three-point seatbelts, a foldaway centre armrest, ISOFIX child seat attachments on the sides, and adjustable headrests for each passenger are also features of the seats. There are additionally four speakers positioned on the roof. Because of the extra storage capacity provided by the longer wheelbase, the boot area seems greater than it does in the current three-door Thar.

Expected Engine and Gearbox

Mahindra is expected to provide the same 2-liter turbo-petrol and 2.2-liter diesel engine options for the Thar Roxx as it does for the 3-door model. These engines may, however, be modified to provide much more power in the Thar Roxx. It is probably going to come with a 6-speed manual and an automatic torque converter gearbox, as well as choices for 4WD and RWD (rear-wheel drive).

Expected Price

It is anticipated that the Mahindra Thar Roxx will retail for between Rs 12.99 lakh and Rs 23 lakh (ex-showroom).
