Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 EV Launched in India

The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 is the fastest and most potent electric motorcycle that Ultraviolette Automotive has ever introduced in India. Updates include an entirely new chassis, cutting-edge battery technology, and a longer range than the F77 motorcycle, which was introduced in the nation in late 2022. The bike is available for pre-order starting today at 4 p.m., with delivery expected in May.

Design

With its razor-sharp headlamp, all LED lighting, aerodynamic side panels, and cosy rider’s triangle, the F77 Mach 2 is a motorbike geared towards young riders. Nine distinct colour options are available for the new F77 Mach, including Supersonic Silver, Stealth Grey, Afterburner Yellow, Stellar White, Plasma Red, and Cosmic Black.

Battery

The 40 bhp (30 kWW) electric motor that powers the most potent Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 is coupled to a 10.3 kWh battery pack. It has SRB battery technology and a longer range. 

Performance

According to the firm, the Mach 2 achieves an intercity range of 323 km (IDC), which is 16 km farther than the greatest range of the F77. This yields a sprint time of 2.8 seconds for 0 to 60 km/h. The motorcycle may be charged in less than an hour with the UV Supernova DC fast charger, or it can be charged with a Standard, Boost, or UV Supernova DC fast charger.

 

Features

The F77 Mach 2 has improved TFT display graphics in addition to onboard navigation, battery restrictions, hill hold, and Find My F77. It also receives three riding modes: Delta Watch, an updated regeneration system, an active collision warning system (ACWS), and rear light flashes.

Suspension and Brakes

The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 has a new frame that is supported by a monoshock in the back and inverted front forks. A disc on each end, mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels, provides stopping power. 

Safety

The F77 Mach has three traction control levels, dynamic stability control (DSC), and a dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) for added safety. The world’s first electric motorcycle with DSC is the Mach 2.

Price and Variants

The motorcycle is available in two range variants: Mach 2 (with a 211 km range) and Mach 2 Recon (with a 323 km range), and it is priced at Rs 2.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom).
