Ducati DesertX Rally Reservations Now Open in India

The more adventure-ready model, the Ducati DesertX Rally, comes with a tonne of improvements. The gear pedals, rear brake lever, and sump guard are machined and made of forged carbon for the DesertX Rally. The weight gain over the basic version is 1 kg as a result of all the modifications.

Prior to the new DesertX Rally adventure motorcycle’s introduction later this year, Ducati India started taking pre-orders. The off-road-focused Ducati DesertX Rally is an evolution of the insane DesertX. It receives improvements in the form of additional machinery and will cost more than the base model. Since last year, the ordinary Ducati DesertX has been available for purchase in India.

Some improvements for the Ducati DesertX Rally include spoked wheels with an 18-inch rear and a 21-inch front. Additionally, it has a KYB USD front fork with a monoshock in the back and an adventure-style high beak on the front mudguard. Additionally, compared to the normal DesertX, the front and rear suspension travel are extended by 20 mm.

The 937 cc Testastretta 11-degree twin-cylinder engine powers the new Ducati DesertX Rally that generates 108 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 92 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Six riding modes are available for the DesertX Rally: urban, sport, touring, wet, enduro, and rally. A variety of electronic assistance is also included, such as cornering ABS, traction control, and wheelie control. A 5-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth is included with the bike.

The Ducati DesertX is available for Rs 18.33 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is anticipated that the DesertX Rally will fetch a higher price, possibly starting at Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
