The MG Astor Facelift was the first compact SUV in its class to be introduced with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and a personal AI assistant in India in 2021. In 2024, MG has not only updated the Astor's features but has also redesigned its entire range of variants, including the addition of the new entry-level Sprint variant.
Design
Astor's remarkable and graceful contours make an impression right away. It has full LED hawkeye headlamps, turbine-inspired machined alloy LED tail lamps, and a rear bumper with chrome accentuated dual exhaust design. No matter where you take it, the distinctive athletic details and MG signature elements will make an impression.
The Astor's interior design conveys a rich sense of roominess, enhanced by fine furnishings and striking colour choices. It has a dual-tone Sangria red interior theme, a full digital cluster with a 17.78-cm embedded LCD screen, ventilated seats, and premium leather-layered interiors. The cabin is a fusion of sophisticated comfort and modern style, thanks to its superior upholstery.
What's new
Updates for the MG Astor in 2024 bring new features like wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, and an auto-dimming IRVM. With Smart 2.0 UI, the 10.1-inch infotainment system—which is now standard on all MG SUV models—has been improved. It provides more features for connected cars, such as voice commands for the weather, news, calculator, and more, with the Jio Voice Recognition system. The infotainment system now also supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Not only this, but it has been updated much more.
