Aprilia RS457 is introduced to the Indian market at IBW 2023 today. The RS 457 is the first Aprilia motorcycle made in India; it is produced at the Piaggio Group's plant in Baramati, Maharashtra, and is intended to offer the performance and precision of larger Aprilia motorcycles at a more affordable pricing point. On December 15, booking for the RS 457 will go live online at Motoplex outlets. Delivery of the vehicle will start in March 2024.

Design
The RS 457 is up to Aprilia's reputation for having unique styling. It has a front-facing all-LED headlight with integrated turn signals. Its dual front fairing is similar to the latest Aprilia bike generation's signature style. The RS 457 has a 175 kg curb weight and an aluminium frame. 17-inch alloy wheels are included with the bike as standard. Prismatic dark, racing stripes, and opalescent light are the three shades that are offered. Its seat height is 800mm.

Handlebar controls with backlighting and a 5-inch TFT display are mounted on the dash. Quickshifter is offered as an add-on accessory. It has a muscular fuel tank, split-style seat, side-slung exhaust, twin-pod headlights, full-fairing design, and fairing-mounted rearview mirrors.

Features-wise, the RS 457 has an instrument cluster with a 5-inch coloured TFT screen that shows the rider all the important data. In addition to three riding modes and three traction control levels, there is ride-by-wire. In India, the RS 457 comes in one version and three colour options.

Price
The Aprilia RS 457 costs Rs. 4,10,000 (ex-showroom). There are five Aprilia showrooms in Delhi where you can purchase the Aprilia RS 457, with an on-road price starting at ₹ 4,68,803 in Delhi. There is also an EMI option for RS 457, with payments starting at ₹ 14,371 in Delhi.
