Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2: Top 5 Highlights

Ultraviolette Automotive, a Bengaluru-based startup focused on electric vehicles, has unveiled the F77 Mach 2, an upgraded electric motorcycle. The original and replica versions of the 2024 Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle are now on sale in India. The Mach 2 and Mach 2 Recon are the two versions of the redesigned motorcycle that will be available.

Performance pack adds further features, like improved four-level traction control and 10-level regenerative braking with dynamic regeneration. Nevertheless, both packages will raise the ex-showroom price of the motorcycle after the first 1,000 units.

Design
Mach 2 is still based on its predecessor’s style and design. Subtle upgrades to the F77 Mach 2’s original design include new colors for the monoshock, new artwork for the fork covers, and an aluminum lid for the charging port. It is important to note that while some features are optional on the base Mach 2 model, others are included on the highest-spec Recon.

Specifications
Battery
The performance and battery packs of the Mach 2 Original and Mach 2 Recon are also different. It has a larger 10.3 kWh pack that increases the IDC range to 323 km on a full charge. The Recon version produces 100 Nm of torque and 40.23 horsepower, which is a little bit more power. 

Performance
The Original Mach 2 is capable of producing 36.21 bhp and 90 Nm of peak torque in addition to a stated 7.8-second 0-100 kmph sprint. However, the Recon variant able to achieve 100 kmph in 7.7 seconds. There are three ride modes available for both variants: Glide, Combat, and Ballistic.

Features
Features-wise, the basic F77 Mach 2 has three levels of regenerative braking, while the Recon variant has ten levels (with a further ten levels available). Additionally, it has traction control, which is available in three settings for riding conditions: rain, ice, and city/street. It is an optional feature on the base model.

Additional Features
Additional feature enhancements include charge restrictions, onboard navigation, customizable display themes, hill hold assistance, an optional tire pressure monitoring system, and more. The “Violette AI” package, which increases the F77 Mach 2’s safety over its predecessors, is also available. Violette AI, Delta Watch, Lockdown, Crash Alert, Anti-Collision Warning System, and Daily Ride Analytics are among the optional features that make up the “Smart Tech” package. 

Variants and Colours
There are two versions of the modified F77 available: Original and Recon, each with three variants: Stealth, Laser, and Airstrike. There are nine different colour schemes in all: Stealth, which contains Asteroid Grey, Cosmic Black, and Stealth Grey; Laser, which has Turbo Red, Afterburner Yellow, and Plasma Red; and Airstrike, which has Lightning Blue, Stellar White, and Supersonic Silver. 
 
Price
The models will be delivered starting in May 2024, and they will be phased in across 17 cities in India. It is priced at Rs. 3.99 lakh. These are promotional rates, valid only for the first 1,000 clients; thereafter, rates are anticipated to increase by a maximum of Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1 lakh.
