Most preferred, Yamaha FZ FI V3?

The Yamaha FZ FI V3 is a perfect bike for city commute. The ergonomics are good, so is the 149cc engine. It's torquey, is refined and returns decent mileage. Plus, all these are backed up by Yamaha reliability. The Blue Core concept-powered 149 cc engine of the new FZ-FI is now equipped with a "Side stand engine cutoff switch" and a Bluetooth-enabled "Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X".

An upright, comfortable riding stance complements the two-level seat's superb fit and cushioning. For a stable ride and comfort for the rider and pillion rider, the cushioning material has the right amount of stiffness combined with an excellent fit in the seat material. The pillion seat is 5 mm thicker for improved comfort and 26 mm broader at the hip area. With minimal unevenness, the new LED headlamp offers outstanding visibility over a large range. It makes use of separate modules for the high and low beams as well as a reflector with optimal light projection.

Engine and Gearbox
The 149cc air-cooled, SOHC, fuel-injected engine of the Yamaha FZ-FI V3 produces 12.4 PS at 7250 rpm and 13.3 Nm at 5500 rpm when combined with a 5-speed gearbox.

Its engine has been fine-tuned to provide an even better acceleration out of stops and an exciting sensation while overtaking. The fuel injection system's ignition timing and injection maps are crafted to provide riders with a satisfying sense of acceleration while maintaining an upright riding position. It offers superior stress absorption capabilities and a stable braking experience.

While the odometer, Trip 1, Trip 2, F Trip, clock, and other information can be chosen to be displayed, the digital speedometer, fuel gauge, and bar-style tachometer above are always visible, along with an ABS warning bulb. Additionally, an ECO indicator is included to allow for more fuel-efficient riding.

Suspension and Brakes
The Yamaha FZ-FI V3 features a monoshock with a 7-step preload adjustment and a telescopic fork. The bike sports a front 282mm disc brake with single-channel ABS and a rear 220mm disc brake with the same technology. Additionally, the bike is equipped with a front 110/80-17 tyre and a rear 140/60 R17 radial tyre.

The Yamaha FZ-FI V3 comes in a single version and two colour choices: Metallic Black and the newly released Matte Cyan, which took the place of the previously offered Racing Blue shade.

  • An LCD panel with a negative value is visually appealing.
