Big displays are incoming

The iPhone 16 Pro lineup, like the iPhone 15 Pro series, will support ProRes with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. These displays are expected to have a greater peak brightness and be shielded by a next-generation ceramic shield, which may include an anti-reflective coating similar to that found on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Bulkier screens also mean that these gadgets will feel much heavier and bulkier than their predecessors.

 

A bigger action button and a new capture button hint

In addition, leaked dummy images of the iPhone 16 Pro suggest that Apple will add a second button to the iPhone, called the “capture button,” which will function as a dedicated camera shutter button and is rumoured to be available across the iPhone 16 lineup. Apple replaced the mute switch with the Action Button with the launch of the iPhone 15 Pro, and the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro series will come with a bigger action button.

 

Almost identical design

Finally, it is reported that Apple will release the iPhone 16 Pro series in two new color options: rose titanium and space black. The rose titanium colour will bring back the gold colour, similar to the iPhone 14 Pro series, while space black may mirror the hues of the new MacBook Air M3. Additionally, it is rumoured that the iPhone 16 Pro’s chassis surface may resemble the mirror-like finish of the iPhone 14 Pro, which is prone to fingerprints and smudges.
