Specifications
Engine and Gearbox
The CB300R has a 286cc single-cylinder, BS6's, liquid-cooled DOHC engine. The revised naked produces 27.5 Nm at 7500 rpm and 31.1 PS at 9000 rpm. By contrast, the BS4 bike generated 27.4 Nm at 6500 rpm and 30.4 PS at 8000 rpm. For its 6-speed gearbox, Honda has also fitted the motorcycle with a slipper clutch.
 
Features
Similar to the BS4 model, the Honda CB300R has a full-LCD multifunction instrument cluster with all-LED lighting, but it also has a gear position indicator. The bike also gets an exhaust muffler that has been significantly modified, a front fork with a gold finish, and fuel tank extensions painted in darker hues. It doesn't have smartphone connectivity and TFT instrument. 
 
Suspension and Brakes
It keeps the same diamond-shaped frame with an upside-down Showa front fork and a rear monoshock that can be adjusted in seven steps for preload. a front 296 mm petal disc and a rear 220 mm disc (with IMU-assisted dual-channel ABS). It has 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres on the front (110 sections) and the back (150 sections).
