The Mahindra Bolero might not be the most comfortable car for passengers. Its exceptional functionality and practicality have made it the best-selling utility vehicle, though. The fourth-generation Bolero is anticipated to go on sale in 2026.
Design
The Bolero has clear-lens tail lights at the back and a full-sized spare tyre mounted in the vintage style on the back. To make the side profile look better, S-shaped graphics have been added to the side. The cabin has black stairs installed for easy access and departure. The wheel covers have a good appearance and mimic an alloy wheel configuration.
For interiors, a driver information system with features like distance travelled, distance to empty, gear indicator, door ajar indicator, and a digital clock with day and date. Additionally available are 12V charging port, central locking, power windows, fabric seats, and keyless entry. The seats are in an upright position and offer inadequate support beneath the thighs. Long-distance driving may find this uncomfortable, but the backrest can be adjusted to lean backward for increased comfort.
Specifications
Engine and Gearbox
The Mahindra Bolero is powered by a 1.5-liter diesel engine. At 3,600 rpm, the engine generates 75 bhp of power, and between 1,600 and 2,200 rpm, it produces 210 Nm. This engine is coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox. A 16 km/l mileage claim is made for the Mahindra Bolero Diesel Manual version.
Performance
The engine never gets too loud, even though there is some diesel noise inside the cabin. The engine has a top speed of 125 kmph and responds well. This SUV can be easily used on damaged roads because it has a good torque distribution, even at lower RPMs. But because it takes so long to reach 100 kmph on a motorway, you'll need a more powerful top-end performance.
Features
The Bolero features power windows, power steering, a manual air conditioner, a Bluetooth music system with AUX and USB connectivity, and a digital instrument cluster. There is no cruise control included with the Mahindra Bolero. When you activate cruise control, you can release the accelerator and maintain a constant speed as long as the road system allows it.
Safety
The Bolero places a high priority on the safety of its users by including standard safety features like airbags, parking sensors, and an antilock braking system. There are two airbags in the top model. The Bolero provides a convenient and pleasant driving experience.
Variants
Mahindra Bolero has three different variants available: B4, B6, and B6 (O). The Mahindra Bolero comes in three different colours: Lakeside Brown, Diamond White, and Dsat Silver.
