A Closer Look at the Luxurious Mahindra XUV 700 Price, Specifications and Features are here.

Mahindra XUV700 intends to clear up any confusion, as statistics indicate that if you're in the market for a new vehicle, you're probably searching for an SUV. But there are just too many options, so it gets a little harder to narrow it down from there. SUVs with under four metres, compact SUVs, five or seven seats, petrol or diesel engines, manual or automatic transmissions, and all-wheel drive are available.

Design
The LED DRLs in the new headlamps preserve the "C" shape, paying homage to the 500. On the other hand, these have dynamic indicators and an all-LED beam. More LEDs in the fog lamps, which also have cornering lights, complement these. The boldly designed grille's slats allow the headlamps to flow through them. Strong creases on the bonnet also give the 700's front end more muscle.

The large infotainment panel dominates the layout, but the centre dash is covered in soft leather that is pleasant to the touch. The silver finish and good texture also extend to the hard plastic covering, which enhances the design. The leather wrap on the steering wheel is grippy and looks neat with the new Mahindra logo.

Specifications
Engine and Gearbox
A 2-liter turbo-petrol engine (200 PS/380 Nm) and a 2.2-liter diesel engine (up to 185 PS/450 Nm) are the two engine options available for the XUV700. A 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox is mated to both. All-wheel drive (AWD) is an optional feature for the top-tier AX7 and AX7 L trims, but it is only compatible with the diesel automatic gearbox.

Performance
If the 200 PS power figure seems impressive, the real star of the petrol engine is the refinement. It provides you with a very peaceful driving experience by keeping noise and vibration out of the cabin. Its smooth power delivery is another highlight; as a result, the 200PS power figure does not feel intimidating and you experience a very linear and smooth acceleration.

Features
Mahindra XUV700 features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 6-way powered driver seat, an infotainment system with a touchscreen, and up to 12 speakers. Along with built-in Alexa connectivity, dual-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof are also included.

Safety
It is equipped with electronic stability programme (ESP), ISOFIX anchors, ABS with EBD, and up to seven airbags for safety. The highest-end model additionally includes advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), which include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and autonomous emergency braking. Further features include a 360-degree camera and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Variants
Mahindra XUV700 provides it in the MX and AXE broad trim levels. There are three broad variants of the AXE trim: AX3, AX5, and AX7. There are five colour options available: Red Rage, Electric Blue, Dazzling Silver, Midnight Black, and Everest White.
