Skoda Kushaq The Ultimate SUV. (Price, Design, Specifications and Features)

In Skoda India's history, the Skoda Kushaq is undoubtedly the most significant vehicle. Skoda India's entry-level crossover, the Kushaq, is renowned for its performance, build quality, and refinement.

Design
There are many advantages to the Kushaq. Fans of the style like the Kushaq's boxy SUV appearance, which is a result of its nice, sharp, linear lines, rather flat sides, and short overhangs. An appealing face is created by the distinctive Skoda grille, clever headlamps, and sporty-looking bumper. The boomerang tail lamps and the 17-inch alloy wheels also have a nice appearance. Simultaneously, the Kushaq lacks some curves and flared arches surrounding the wheels, which would have increased its road presence. All things considered, it's a handsome SUV that will appeal to most people, but it doesn't really stand out. Compared to its major competitors, it is shorter overall and in height, but it has a longer wheelbase.

Similar to the outside, the Kushaq's interior, especially the interior and dash design, is obviously well-thought-out. On the inside, though, are some lovely touches, in contrast to the more clinical exteriors. Your attention is drawn in by the two-spoke steering, the chrome accents on the air conditioning vents, and the control knobs mounted on the steering wheel. Additionally impressive are the functional dash and responsive touchscreen. In Kushaq, the seats are ventilated, well-contoured, and supportive.

Specifications
Engine
There are two engine options available for the Kushaq: a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine (150 PS / 250 Nm) and a 1-liter, three-cylinder engine (115 PS / 178 Nm). The 1.5-liter engine's cylinder
deactivation technology turns off two of the four cylinders when there is less load on it, increasing fuel efficiency.

Gearbox
Standard equipment for both engines is a 6-speed manual gearbox. With regard to automatic options, the former has a torque converter with six speeds, while the latter has a dual-clutch gearbox with seven speeds.

Performance
There's enough power for both effortless long trips and thrilling twisty roads thanks to the engine's smooth and refined linear power delivery. It easily reached triple digits, and Skoda's claims of 8.6 seconds to 100 kmph seem quite plausible. Will you only be driving within the city? Given that the motor can pull from as low as 1300 rpm, it is also very driveable at city speeds.

Features
Features of the Kushaq include an 8-inch digital driver display (Style and Monte Carlo), a single-pane sunroof, and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car technology. Wireless phone charging, a 6-speaker sound system with a subwoofer, ventilated front seats, a powered driver and co-driver seat, and an illuminated footwell are also included.

Safety
With the help of electronic stability control (ESC), a rearview camera, TPMS, ABS with EBD, and up to six airbags, safety is guaranteed.

Variants
The Kushaq is available from Skoda in three main variations: Active, Ambition, and Style. In addition, it receives the "Onyx" edition, which is based on the base Active trim, and the "Monte Carlo" and "Matte Edition," which are based on the top-spec Style trim. The carmaker has also introduced a new "Onyx Plus" base trim that is less expensive than its standard model. The top-spec Style variant of the SUV serves as the foundation for the new Elegance edition.
