Ultraviolette F77 electric bike launched at Rs 3.80 lakh

Bangalore-based EV start-up Ultraviolette Automotive has launched the F77 electric bike in India. The F77 is available in two variants - Original & Recon, priced at Rs 3.80 lakh and Rs 4.55 lakh respectively. 



The F77 gets a 7.1 kWh battery and a claimed range of 207km, where as the F77 Recon gets a bigger 10.3 kWh battery and a claimed range of 307km. The bike gets three riding modes - Glide, Combat, Ballistic. 

In terms of design, the F77 looks futuristic and sporty. The bike comes equipped with LED headlamps, clip-on handlebars and a digital instrument console, it is offered in three colour options - Shadow, Airstrike & Laser.  


The battery pack on the F77 comes with a warranty period of 3 years or 30,000km, while the one on Recon comes with 5 years or 50,000km warranty. Suspension duties are handled by a 41mm USD fork and a monoshock. Braking hardware include 320mm disc at front and 230mm disc at rear. 

Ultraviolette has also revealed a limited addition of the F77 which is priced at Rs 5.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The limited model gets a warranty of 8 years or 1,00,000km on the battery pack. This model is more powerful than the standard F77, it is said to go from 0-100km/h in 7.8 seconds and has a top speed of 152km/h. Only 77 units of the limited edition are available. 


Deliveries of the F77 will commence in January 2023 in Bangalore. Further, the expansion will be conducted in a phased manner, to be followed by cities like Mumbai, Hydrabad, Chennai and more.
