2024 Maruti Swift is going to Launch on May 9 in India

After making its global debut in Japan last year, the fourth-generation Maruti Swift is set to make its Indian debut on May 9, 2024. The forthcoming model promises to improve safety features and technology, as well as have extensive interior and exterior upgrades that will increase its performance and appeal. The new Swift will be a significant improvement over the existing model in terms of performance, technology, and safety

With a reputation for innovation in the automotive sector, Maruti Suzuki is getting ready to introduce the much-awaited Maruti Swift hatchback in India in 2024. Not too far behind, the DZire makeover will also be making its premiere. In their current incarnations, both models have had tremendous success, routinely ruling their respective markets and posing a serious threat to rivals thanks to their excellent performance and design.

Design
The Swift has a revamped look that includes updated LED headlamps and tail lamps, along with a sleek front grille with a chrome strip and integrated radar module. Sporty alloy wheels and an updated interior design that takes cues from Maruti Suzuki’s well-received Baleno and Fronx models are two noteworthy upgrades.

Specifications
Engine and Gearbox
The innovative 1.2-litre Z Series petrol engine underpins the new Swift, producing 108 Nm of torque and 83 horsepower. It comes with a choice of manual or automatic gearboxes, as well as a CNG version.

Features
A cutting-edge 9.0-inch touchscreen entertainment system with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is what drivers can expect inside the interior. Advanced features like ventilated seating, luxurious upholstery, and several charging points for flexible connectivity further enhance the comfort and convenience factor. Safety features include six airbags and electronic stabilisation systems. Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) may also be installed.

2024 Maruti Suzuki DZire
After the Swift is introduced, attention will turn to the new Maruti Suzuki DZire, which is expected to receive a number of improvements from its hatchback sibling. The DZire boasts an eye-catching look with new LED headlamps, a reworked front grille, and slim 16-inch alloy wheels.

With a floating infotainment system and small AC vents inside the cabin, along with improved connectivity options like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the interior is given a contemporary feel. Interestingly, the top-spec model will come with a single-pane sunroof, which will elevate the driving experience.

The DZire and Swift share a 1.2-liter Z Series petrol engine, which is expected to provide better fuel economy and dynamic performance. With these improvements, the DZire hopes to uphold its stellar reputation in the compact sedan class and contend with strong rivals like the Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor, and Honda Amaze.
