Is Toyota Innova Hycross the future of hybrid SUVs? It's Price, Specifications and Features are here.

The Toyota Innova HyCross is a practical, roomy, and remarkably efficient vehicle. It offers a more luxurious cabin experience in addition to doing everything the Innova could do and some things even better. Toyota might have another hit on their hands if they can appropriately price the HyCross.

Its grand entrance is marked by a massive grill, headlamps, and DRLs. Its sheer size is only an issue because it makes the already massive 18-inch alloys wheels appear smaller. Both larger wheels and larger profiles relative to the 225/50 tyres would have looked even better. Large wrap-around tail lamps, an integrated spoiler, and a large chrome accent running the length of the tailboard characterise the more sombre rear design.

One of the best things about the HyCross interior is the amount of space it offers. In contrast to what we have become accustomed to from Toyota, the dash design is sleek and contemporary. The large 10-inch touchscreen takes centre stage, and using it is a snap thanks to its clear and simple interface. It even has wireless features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto installed. A 7-inch coloured MID, both digital and analogue, is positioned in front of the driver. It has a clear layout and lots of information.
Engine and Gearbox
A 2-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine and an automated CVT gearbox power the base model. This produces 205 Nm of torque and 172 PS. The higher variants only come with the hybrid power unit, which consists of an electric motor, 168-cell Ni-MH battery pack, and a 2-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine. A higher 184 PS is the total power output. The engine has a torque rating of 188 Nm, and the electric motor can deliver 206 Nm of torque.

It is composed without being floaty when driving. The low speed ride is a little stiffer under lighter loads, but not to the point where you will really be too upset about it. In the long term, your passengers will appreciate the trade-off you made with a car designed to accommodate people. Toyota states that it can reach 100 kmph in 9.5 seconds.

Innova Hycross features a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a 7-inch digital driver's display, and connected car technology.

Innova Hycross safety features include front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, six airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control (VSC), and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with lane-keep and departure assist, adaptive cruise control, and auto-emergency braking.
