Is Hero Splendour most selling bike in India?

The Hero Splendour has been competitively priced in the Indian market for nearly thirty years. This tough commuter now has a number of features that are difficult to find on many 110cc or even a few 125cc motorcycles. These ensure that its importance endures even in the modern day, together with its agile handling and superior fuel efficiency.

The Splendour Plus has undergone several changes over the years, but its basic style and quarter fairing covering a rectangular headlight remain, a design that has endured through the years. The rear has a sturdy chrome luggage rack, while the side panels are simple and uncluttered. With its offset LED DRL, the Splendour Xtec model adds a touch of modernity.

Engine and Gearbox
The 97.2-cc air-cooled engine that powers the Splendour can produce up to 8.02 PS of peak power and 8.05 Nm of peak torque. A four-speed gearbox coupled with this engine makes for a smooth and effective ride. The Splendour is a great option for riders looking for a trustworthy and exciting motorcycle because of its strong performance and dependable gearbox system.

Owners of Hero Splendour motorcycles have reported varying mileage figures, ranging from 55 to 60 km/l. With a true mileage of 60 km/l, the Splendour Plus is the most fuel-efficient variant. On the other hand, the Super Splendour model uses the least fuel, averaging 55 km/l.

It has features like real-time mileage display, phone battery status, and call/SMS alerts possible. Two trip metres, a low fuel indicator, a side-stand engine cut-off feature, and a bank angle sensor that turns off the engine in the event that the motorbike tips over are further features included in the LCD screen.

Other features
An analogue instrument cluster with a fuel gauge, odometer, speedometer, and telltale lights is included with the other models. Hero's i3S stop-start technology is also integrated, which improves fuel efficiency by automatically shutting off the engine while it is idling and starting it again with a twist of the throttle. It also has an LED DRL and a combined braking system.

Suspension and Brakes
The foundation of the motorcycle is made to be dependable and simple. It sports a telescopic fork, five-step preload adjustable dual shocks, and a double-cradle chassis. Both the front and rear 130mm drum brake systems are equipped with combined braking as standard equipment.
