Is Hero HF 100 better than Hero Splendor?

The Hero HF 100 motorcycle is a sleek and capable commuter that promises a dependable and comfortable ride. For everyday commuting and city riding, the HF 100 is the ideal option thanks to its fuel-efficient engine and cosy ergonomics.

Design
The HF 100 and HF Deluxe share a similar appearance and style, although the former lacks additional body graphics that would set the latter apart. Despite the overall neat and slender design, the commuter segment has come to associate the vehicle with the rectangular headlight and plastic hood. It is comfortable to sit in and ride in thanks to the single-wide seat and twin-pod instrument cluster.

Additionally, the rear incorporates a single, rectangular taillight that is similar to the Deluxe model. The entire design appears understated and functional due to the use of 5-spoke alloy wheels. It's among the most affordable commuter bikes available.

Specifications
Engine and Gearbox
It has a 97.2-cc, air-cooled engine that can produce up to 8 horsepower and 8.05 Nm of peak torque. The lightweight HF 100 picks up well for its weight and power levels, even though these numbers might not seem significant on paper. Power is sent to the back wheel of the Hero HF 100 using a 4-speed gearbox

Performance
The HF 100's handling and ride quality are optimised for Indian roads. When riding alone, the ride quality is solid, but when riding with a pillion, it is gentle. On the other hand, over the uneven sections of the road, the suspension performs admirably, and high-speed riding becomes stable.

Features
The 18-inch tubeless alloy wheels and tyres, which are well supported by a solid set of drum brakes on both ends, are highly favoured by prospective customers. Even though installing disc brakes on a motorcycle seems like a must these days, the HF 100's price range becomes a barrier. This bike does not have current features.
