Two eight-cylinder and two twelve-cylinder Wartsila 46F engines power Scarlet Lady. Wartsila was hired by Virgin Voyages to handle the vessel's maintenance, provide remote operational support services, measure fuel oil consumption (SFOC), and provide additional engine spares.
Propulsion
With a combined power output of 32 MW (43,000 hp), the ship's ABB Azipod steerable propulsion system combines two Azipod XO units.
