PMV Eas-E micro electric car launched at Rs 4.79 lakh

Mumbai based EV startup PMV Electric has launched the Eas-E micro electric car at a starting price of  Rs 4,79,000/- The price will be applicable for first 10,000 customers.


PMV Eas-E is the smallest electric car in the country, The vehicle is clearly designed for city usage, it is 2915mm in length, 1157mm in width and 1600mm in height. 

The EV gets many features like digital infotainment system, cruise control, airbags, bluetooth connectivity, navigation, remote keyless entry, park assist, etc. PMV offers the car with three range options - 120km, 160km & 200km. It can be charged from any 15A outlet. The manufacturer is also offering 3kW AC charger. Company says the running cost of the Eas-E will be less than 75 paise per km. 


The motor produces 13hp and 50Nm of torque. PMV claims Eas-E can achieve 0-40kmph in less than 5 seconds and go up to 70kmph.

In terms of design, it has two round headlamps and a single windscreen wiper, it also gets a LED light bar that stretches throughout the width of the vehicle. The car is available in single tone and dual tone colour options. 



The Eas-E does not have any rivals in the EV segment in India yet. It will be manufactured at the firm's Pune plant and PMV aims to start deliveries by mid-2023. It is also offered with 3-year/50,000km warranty.
