Kawasaki has launched the updated version of Ninja 650, priced at Rs 7,12,000/- (ex-showroom), with a slight increase on the existing pricing.
The 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 650 retains the design from last year's model. It gets a split LED headlight setup with a transparent windscreen on top.
The most noticeable feature upgrade is the addition of traction control system. The Ninja 650 now gets the same traction control as of Kawasaki Versys 650, it includes 2 modes and can also be turned off. Company says that the second traction control mode is helpful for wet riding condtions.
Bike gets 649cc parallel-twin engine which produces 67hp at 8000rpm and 64Nm of torque at 6700rpm. The motorcycle is underpinned by high-tensile strength steel frame. Suspension include 41mm telescopic front forks and a monoshock at rear. The bike uses dual 300mm disc brakes at front and single 200mm disc at the rear.
Apart from the LED and traction control, the 2023 Ninja 650 features 4.3inch TFT display with phone connectivity.
Kawasaki offers the 2023 Ninja 650 in single Lime Green paint option. Prices have seen a marginal hike of Rs 17,000 over the previous version.
